Blogging is a great thing to get into. It is a way of expressing your thoughts and feelings and creating something that you’re actually proud of. The blogging community is now so vast and diverse as well. It really is a great community to get into if you know how to. So, if you haven’t already got a blog yourself, why not try your hand at it. It is easy to set up, and there are opportunities to be made from it. If you’re already in the blogging community you’ll know how true that is. However, once you do get going…why not think about turning it into a little side hustle. It doesn’t require much of your time, and most of it is about networking yourself properly. To show you how, here’s how you can turn your blog into a little business.
Sorting Your Money
When you do eventually begin to make money from blogging you need to make sure you’re managing it properly. You’re will be classified as self employed through blogging. Once you start making money, prepare yourself to pay tax on it. No matter how much you make, make sure you register as self-employed to make sure the tax man doesn’t come looking for you. This is also the time to think about invoicing. If companies are willing to pay you, you need to start invoice finance factoring if you want to get things done properly.
The last thing you want is to be taken advantage of or not invoicing properly so that companies are paying you wrong. Keeping an up to date record of your invoices will help to evaluate how much tax you need to pay. Any money you do make however could be put into a savings pot for something special.

From Blog To Business
So making the transition from a blog to a blogging business isn’t hard. Some people don’t like the idea due to feeling like they’ll lose the purpose of their blog. However, this isn’t always the case. It’s your blog, and you can write about what you want. So to turn your blog into a business you first need to think of what people are actually going to want to read.
Connect with people that you know are going to be interested in your posts. Spread the word via social media. Social media is going to be your best friend. You should always be using it to boost your following. Join blogger chats, get retweets of your posts, and always include different companies in your tweets. For example, if you’ve just done a review of a particular product by a company, tweet the post and tag them in it. It’ll gain exposure and is the first stepping stone in turning it into a business. Once you’ve built your following, you can start to contact companies directly asking them for a collaboration for either free product or a fixed fee. This is when your small business starts to take shape.
